Product Operation Guide

Tip: Tap the titles below to expand details.

1) Why does the first roti take 8 minutes?

The commercial-grade dual infrared system must fully preheat to 180°C ± 5°C to ensure even cooking. Subsequent rotis take about 2 minutes each because the plates stay hot.

2) How do I control the flour / water / oil ratio?
Standard preset
Wheat flour: 300 g  ·  Water: 200 ml  ·  Oil: 15 ml (±15% is acceptable)
Custom presets
Use Flour2Flour3Flour4 for different flours.

To configure a flour preset:

  1. Tap Flour.
  2. Select the Type.
  3. Tap Setting.
  4. Press and hold Dough test only for 8 seconds.
  5. Adjust parameters as needed.
  6. Tap Back.
  7. Adjust thickness and water level.
  8. Tap OK.
3) Can it make foods other than rotis?

No. This appliance is designed specifically for roti dough and cooking.

4) Why won't the dough form?
  • Too much flour / too little water → powdery mix. Add water or reduce flour (see Q2).
  • Too little flour / too much water → wet/sticky. Reduce water or add flour (see Q2).
5) How do I clean the top flour container?

Rotate the container to the right and lift it out. Brush away residue with the supplied brush, then wipe with a damp cloth.

6) How do I clean the water and oil containers?

Pull each container straight out and wipe with a damp cloth.

7) How do I clean the internal parts?
  1. Open the compartment door.
  2. Pull out the base, remove residual flour, and wipe with a damp cloth.
  3. Rotate the kneading cup left to remove; press the bottom kneading-rod latch to detach. Remove flour residue, then wipe or rinse with water.
  4. Close the door and tap Clean on the screen. When the push-rod extends, press the white clip inside to remove the rod and wipe it clean.
  5. Reinsert the push-rod until you hear a click. Confirm the wheels are reset, close the door, then tap Reset.
  6. Reinstall the parts removed in steps 2–3.
8) Why can I only set 8 rotis per batch?

It’s optimized for a family of 3–4 people, and the water tank capacity supports about 8 rotis per fill.

9) Can I add more rotis midway?

Yes. You can increase the quantity during a batch.

10) With a full flour container, how many rotis can I make?

Up to ~20 rotis. After making 8, perform a quick clean (see Q7, step 3) and continue.

11) The rotis are too hard—what should I do?

High-heat, freshly cooked rotis can be firm/crisp. Brush a thin layer of oil on the surface, place them in a container to cool for about 10 minutes; they will soften and roll nicely.

12) Why do the rotis vary in shape?

Machine kneading (not hand-rolling) can lead to slight differences in size/shape. This does not affect taste.

13) Why do some rotis crack?

Too little flour combined with excessive heat can cause cracking. Adjust the ratio and temperature as in Q2.

14) The flour/water/oil lids won’t close.

Weather or transport may slightly deform the lids. Gently warm the rim with a hair dryer and refit.
